Defining The Pigs’ genre is challenging — are they country, hillbilly, bluegrass, folk, hillbilly pop? What's certain is their impressive track record of chart-topping hits, Golden Guitar nominations, and song contest wins. With a global fan base and legendary live shows, they've made a name for themselves with unique covers and beloved original tracks.

Their two-decade-long journey has seen them perform at countless festivals across Australia and Europe, release five albums and come to be known as the band that has made songs by Beyonce, Powderfinger and even Kanye bluegrassy – just as they were meant to be – but it’s their originals that they’re remembered most for.. their most popular song on Spotify is the hilariously quirky original, “Macho Moisturiser” – a song that’s become an unlikely sing-a-long classic at a Pigs concert.
