Richard Clapton’s The Best Years of Our Lives is a retrospective live show celebrating over 50 years of his contribution to Australian music. The performance features a comprehensive setlist that includes classics like “Girls on the Avenue,” “Deep Water,” “Capricorn Dancer,” and “I Am an Island,” offering audiences a journey through his extensive catalog.  

This concert series is named after his 1989 live album, recorded at the State Theatre in Sydney, which became a significant release in his career. The show is structured in two sets, providing a deep dive into Clapton’s musical evolution and his impact on the Australian rock landscape.
Children's Policy: Children under 2 years are admitted for free provided they do not occupy a seat. Strictly no standing or dancing is permitted in the Mezzanine and Dress Circle. Accessible Seating & Companion Card Holders: Some accessible seating can be purchased online. Bookings including a Companion Card ticket can only be collected from the Box Office. The Companion Card must be presented upon collection. Call Ticketmaster's Accessible Seating line on 1300 446 925 for Accessible / Companion Card & Hearing Loop bookings or information. There is a minimum of 20 stairs to the Dress Circle and Stalls. Patrons needing easy access seats should book for the Mezzanine. Row H has no stairs. There are 2 stairs per row from the back row (eg row G has 2 stairs, row F has 4 stairs etc)
