Join Dugong Jr as he celebrates his debut album ‘Good Time Hotel’ with his first ever Australian headline tour, this May! It’s been an incredibly meticulous past 6 months for the Naarm/ Melbourne based artist & producer, who’s been steadily releasing music & notching up wins across the board, including multiple spins on Triple J, international supports (Chromeo), as well as signing to Berlin based label Majestic Casual & Australias dance stalwarts Sweat It Out. Dugong Jr will be taking his polished new live show to Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane for a limited run of shows, so make sure you get your tickets before they are gone! Supports TBC. 

Derived from a strong connection to his Chinese-Australian heritage, and drawing on influences of house, hip-hop and Chinese cinema, Dugong Jr creates lush soundscapes with a strong focus on electronic music. His previous release ‘Babylon’ received a first play on triple j’s Home & Hosed, with the station’s Drive presenter Abby Butler saying “you've got the producing equivalent of the Midas touch. Every beat is golden”. He has also received widespread support from tastemakers such as BBC Radio 1, Vice, and Complex UK to name a few. Keeping himself busy over the last twelve months, Dugong Jr has released singles ‘Coup De Grace (feat. IJALE)’, ‘Changes’, Peace & Love (feat. Evangeline), ‘Something About U’, and ‘Bushido’ via Berlin-based record label Majestic Casual. 

With a creative output that goes beyond just music, Dugong Jr also recently collaborated with Melbourne based street wear label ICHPIG for a limited collection of t-shirts and caps. With a number of EPs and singles now under his belt, Dugong Jr’s work has taken him across the globe to New Zealand, US and Canada and seen him play at major festivals and events like Splendour In The Grass, Brownies & Lemonade, and Groovin The Moo. Continuing to capitalise on the momentum of his recent singles, Dugong Jr just finished supporting Chromeo on their Australian tour which saw him play to sold out crowds in Sydney’s Metro Theatre & Melbourne’s 170 Russell. He’ll soon be taking the stage again on his upcoming national tour playing along the east coast of Australia including Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane.
