Over the past year as a band, Civic Video have honed their shimmery, swirling indie rock sound that seeks to get audiences to feel deeply and want to dance. Riding on the high of the overwhelmingly positive reception of their first single track 'Letters', the band's latter three singles 'Wasted Days', 'If I Could Make You Dance' and ‘Shaky Hands’ have all received radio play from the likes of triple j's Home and Hosed, 2RRR, 2SSR, and Hobart's Edge Radio. CV has been knuckling down over the summer and is set to put on a killer live show full of soaring riffs, upbeat tempos and silky indie rock goodness. Following tours with both The Rions and Rum Jungle, and with a live set sure to leave you craving more, Civic Video are rearing to hit the stage and put on a night that’ll be impossible to forget.
 Hailing from Meanjin/Brisbane, queer-fronted 5-piece dream rock outfit Mt. Nadir has been 

setting stages alight. Bass heavy and guitar-driven, Nadir blends alt-rock, shoegaze and dream-pop, creating a unique soundscape that fans can’t get enough of. The band is fronted by Frankie Rosbrook (they/them), who has become renowned for their folk-style storytelling, emotive vocals and electric stage presence.

 Mt Nadir’s debut EP Growing Pain, released in June 2023, has quickly amassed over 80k Spotify streams, featuring on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Indie (190k), as well as several Apple Music playlists (New Music Daily, New In Rock & Indie + Chill) and Triple J + Unearthed multiple times. 

 The band have been a mainstay on local community radio, with You & Me featuring at #17 and Growing Pain featuring at #12 on the 4ZZZ Weekly top 20 charts. They have also featured across renowned music publications Purplesneakers, PileRats & The AU Review.

 Mt. Nadir’s high-energy, emotive live shows have seen them booked on line-ups with Tia Gostelow, Beddy Rays, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Hope D, Jem Cassar-Daley, Peach Fur & Cry Club, as well as headlining and packing out iconic Brisbane venues, including Felons Barrel Hall & Black Bear Lodge.

 The band toured the east coastin 2023 to celebrate their EP release, selling out The Bearded Lady in Meanjin and The Gaso (Upstairs) in Naarm/Melbourne.

 2024 is looking bright for Mt. Nadir played shows alongside Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks, Adam Newling, Grace Cummings and appeared at Mountain Goat Valley Crawl. The band are also gearing up to open for The Grogans on April 5 and will be releasing their latest single Knife’s Edge mid april and touring off the back of it.
