27 February: Vienna’s Golden Age
Andrew Haveron, Vatche Jambazian, Menachem Feldman, St Andrew’s choir & the Great Synagogue choir

Be transported back in time to Vienna’s golden age with the most in-vogue musicians of the day: Mahler, Zemlinsky, Korngold, Strauss and Sulzer. SSO concertmaster Andrew Haveron with virtuosic pianist Vatche Jambazian will illuminate the masterworks of the period, including Strauss' epic sonata, nostalgic works by Korngold and the legendary Fritz Kreisler. Between the masterworks, discover the cantorial and sacred works of the period with the wonderful St Andrew's choir, the Great Synagogue choir and the powerful voice of Menachem Feldman.

28 May: From Budapest with Paprika
Experience the hot Gypsy blood of internationally renowned violinist Joszef Lendvay, who will dazzle you with his brilliance and finesse on his 1693 Stradivari. You'll be taken on an uplifting journey through the pillars of romantic masterworks for the violin. Joszef will be joined by the highly acclaimed pianist Edward Neeman.

2 July: Midnight in Paris
The brilliant Konstantin Shamray will sweep you off your feet with the music of Paris by moonlight, from Debussy's suite Bergamasque (Claire de Lune) to Ravel's nostalgic La Valse; no emotion unexplored, no heart unmoved. Join us for an unforgettable evening in Paris.

3 September: Bohemian Rhapsody
Ensemble Liaison is internationally acclaimed for its spell-binding performances, innovative programs and brilliant collaborations with leading artists. Bohemian Rhapsody is a journey through music for the free soul, a setlist of Ensemble Liaison's favourites—from Ravel's spiritual Kaddish and Brahms' majestic trio to Gershwin's playful Porgy and Bess to Kats-Chernin's Russian rag - and of course, some spicy Klezmer!

5 November: A Wonderful World
Simon Tedeschi returns to the Great Synagogue with a soul-quenching programme of sublime jazz standards alongside some of Australia's most revered artists. Ranging from Louis Armstrong to George Gershwin to Benny Goodman, this evening will stir emotions of nostalgia, joy and elation with the golden era of jazz.
